Vehicle Detail

You will have a very hard time finding another 73 Z28 Camaro as Original, as well documented, and as originally intact, as this car. It is super clean and still has many of the tags on various parts installed at the factory, and of course paint marks. If at all possible you should come to see the car. You won't believe the paint is original, but it is. As is almost everything else on the car, including tires. The paint does have rock chips and some checking on the hood and top, but it still looks outstanding. The rear spoiler has had some touchup and right side piece repainted on the frontside, The outside mirrors have had just a few rock chips touched up, and the differential cover was repainted mid 80's, otherwise nothing else anywhere on the car has been repainted or touched up. The only things on the car that have been replaced are, - Windshield 1978, right rear axle (curb late 70's replaced mid 80's) kept original, plan to have it checked, straightened if necessary and reinstall (or you could), the front shocks are not the originals, the front spoiler was changed last year (I do have the original), the drivers side window crank was replaced late 70's, the windshield washer pump was just replaced this spring (kept the original if anyone is interested in trying to repair), the exhaust tips were changed when the car was new and I still have the pieces that were cut off. Other than ignition parts, filters, and batteries, everything else is exactly as it was when I picked the car up at the dealer in Jan. of 1973, and I mean absolutely everything, including belts hoses etc. The only other things that have ever even been off the car, except wheels and tires are, the carburetor to change the float, the front hubs to pack the bearings, and the alternator, a few months ago, so I could take pictures of the #'s on the front of the block. The dash pad has a very slight warp, the drivers seat has one small crack, the carpet on the drivers side has some extremely slight wear or slight sign of soiling ( it looks great, just not perfect, usually would go unmentioned), everything else in the interior looks brand new. I have the original window sticker, the build sheet, Bill of Sale and all other paper work from the dealer, Price estimates from 3 other dealers, Owners manual and all other documents and brochures from GM - Warranty, Maintainence Schedule, Consumer info, Inspection checklist, Emissions Control info and Warranty, Wheel trim ring instructions, Key plugs, One set of original unused Keys, and my original Camaro brochure. I have all of my bank loan papers and payment book. I have the registrations from every year the car was licensed. I ordered the car without stripes, and with the M-20 wide range transmission (which I think is rare for a car without Air Conditioning). It has a 3.73 posi rearend, and an AM FM radio. The other options are probably pretty standard for most Z28's but you can see them on the window sticker or build sheet. There is absolutely no rust in any body panels, wheel wells, or floor pans. The pictures I took with the mat pulled up in the trunk is the first time that has seen the light of day since the mat was installed at the factory. The low rated, 245 SAE Net HP engine runs very strong on pump gas. This is a unique car, and a unique opportunity for someone to own. It's value will only continue to increase. Contact me if you have any questions at all, or would like more pictures of anything. The car is sold as is.
