You are bidding on a 1978 Honda cb554. The bike is very dependable and is in pretty good shape to be a 1978. Everything on the bike is original. The bike starts ride up with the choke pulled out. After the bike idles for awhile with the choke out you can push the choke in and it runs just fine if it has been running long enough. I guess what I am trying to say is that the bike is cold natured. Once the bike warms up it runs fine. If I bought the bike from my friend I would get the carbs worked on. Then it would run perfect. I am selling this bike for a friend of mine that drove the bike every where. He even rode the bike all the way to Maggie Vallie, N.C. The only reason that he is selling the bike is because he bought a larger size Shadow. The bike is a 1978, so don't expect it to look perfect. The paint is in good shape and it appears to be the original paint, the bike does have some rust on it but it is not bad for thirty year old bike. I looked up under the bike today to see if it had ever been laid down and I could not see any signs. All the guages work on the bike and I would ride it anywhere. My friend told me that he purchase the bike from the original owner which would make him the second owner. The bike has always been is South Carolina. The bike has not been driven hard and it has not been abused. I tried to take good pictures of the bike so that you could see everything. The closest Airport to me is an 1 1/2 hours away. The Airports to choose from are: Charleston, S.C. Florence, S.C. Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Columbia, S.C. I could pick you up and I could put you a 45 day temporary tag and the proper paper work to get you home legal. I will also give you the Title when the Funds have cleared my bank. I really prefer cash with all the Fraud that's going on when you come to pick the bike up. I am listing for 7 days with no reserve !! So whoever has the high bid will win this collector bike.
