This is a very clean 100% rust free 1977 California Volkswagen 8 passenger Vanagon. The bus starts up and sounds very healthy the engine runs extremely well and accelerates positively. The gearbox is good, the clutch works great and shifting through all the gears is smooth and effortless. The brakes stop the bus well, the steering is in good working order and the suspension feels good. The handling is good and the entire drive train is solid. There is a factory a/c unit however it does not work? Cosmetically the van is in very good condition. The body is straight with no dents, rust, or major imperfections. The chassis, and frame are rust free. The paint finish is attractive and has a nice luster. The overall appearance is quite nice. The chrome is shiny and looks good. The are a few minor dings on the bumpers, nothing to loose sleep over. Nice stock wheels, and hubcaps with good tread remaining on all four tires. The interior is nice shape.
