Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is one of my SSII 1977 International Harvester SSII (sometimes called Super Scout or Safari Scout) These are very rare. I am told only 4000 of them were sold between 1977-1979 Has a spring over axle (SPOA) lift completed by previous owner. 2" body lift 304 V8 engine that runs good Automatic transmission 727 Torqueflight Dana 20 transfer case Dual exaust w/ glasspacks. Sounds good but not nasty loud. Convertible top with all installation hardware as well as soft door frames/covers Roll bar New ProComp 35" tires on 15" rims Runs good, Drives good. Seats in good condition. The front seats were installed by the previous owner, and I am not sure what they came from. THICK bedliner in entire tub. This isnt some crappy DIY bedliner this is a professional performed job. TUFFY center console w/ stereo door. These are 200$ Grill guard Work I have done: New body bushings New spring bushings 2" body lift New rear axle bearings/ seals New rear brakes New master cylinder New tires Flaming River Borgeson Joint for steering...this replaces the crappy rag joint. Transmission was looked at, and replaced the brass bushing in the front New torque converter LED lights installed in dash gauges Refinished dash gages Exide battery Things I know about Scout: This scout was originally either Elk or Buckskin colored, and was repainted by the previous owner. Keep in mind that this is not my daily driver. I used it as a recreational vehicle. I never abused it off road, mostly around town and to the river. It is not street legal at the time. Needs emergency brake cable tightend Dash has hole above glove box One of the shock mounts on rear needs to be rewelded. I will try to get that done before auction ends. It does not have the vent covers for the dash, but there are some on my other SSII that you can have. I will add stuff if I can remember anything else. TERMS: I have this for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end auction if sold locally. I will ship if needed. Sold AS IS. CLEAR TEXAS TITLE in hand I can deliver after paid for, but his must be discussed BEFORE bidding. Must be within about 200 miles. I require a Paypal deposit of 200$ immediately after auction end. Must pay in full within 7 days of auction end. I can store it as for a month or so, but you must pay for it in 7 days! Remainder due in Cash at pickup. THE PICTURES WITH THE TOP ON WERE TAKEN BEFORE THE 2" BODY LIFT AND NEW TIRES! Also I have a 77 SSII for parts that will be included as well. Take all or part of it, or leave it. I included a pic of it too.
