FOR SALE is a terrific, two owner barn find. This is a 1966 Country Squire, 6 passenger station wagon. It is equipped with a running (needs rebuild) Ford 390 FE big block that is original to the car, as is the C6 transmission, 9 inch rear end and large brakes. The car was purchased from the original owner and he was going to restore the vehicle but had health problems. The car includes the side trim that goes around the wood grain sides. There is one complete set plus one piece short of a second set. There is also an extra gas tank from another car; in excellent shape. (the one in the car is also in good shape and does not appear to have any issues.The car is virtually rust free. All of the stainless trim is on the car and in excellent condition, needing only polishing. The bumpers, both front and rear will need to be re-chromed. The original emblems are in good shape and can be used as is.The body is very straight and has not been in any collisions of note. The original owner back into his tractor and dented the left rear corner and broke the tail light. The damage has been partially repaired and a new tail light installed. The rear window is in the car and intact. The electric mechanism was not functioning so the rollers were removed from the track and the window put down so the tail gate could be opened to get to the window motor and regulator. The plastic has been put over the opening to keep stuff out.The interior is complete and reasonably good shape. The front seats are starting to come apart but the back seat is in excellent condition. This is a great car for restoration or repair as a daily driver and parts getter. While the car runs and drives, it will have to be trailered on pick up as the brakes need rebuild. This is a classic example of 60's transportation. I have too many projects and this one is on a back burner. It needs a new home and someone to restore it and drive it. Happy bidding.
