Own a very Collectible MERCURY .....Ford has decided to discontinue the Mercury line which should only make this old cruiser more collectible. I bought this car recently and just do not have the money to do it justice. I bought the car out of Kansas , but believe it came out of West Texas , has an old Texas license plate on the front. Car is fairly solid and should be an excellent platform to restore. Has one of the more rare automatic transmissions of the day. These cars are absolutely beutiful when restored and this car has all the chrome and stainless as well as the original fender skirts. I purchased a trunk locking mechanism in a seperate auction as well as a replacement clock. I believe everything works based on the information I received from the guy I purchased from. Has a clear Kansas Antique Title , have not and will not be putting in my name so you can change directly if your state requires. Starts and runs ( rough ) needs carb work I believe, has the original 292 Y Block engine, and actually looks pretty good in engine bay. Has 12v Starter , but as I understand it rest of car has not been converted.
