This custom chev 4x4 started life and still is a 1973 chevy shortbed 4x4, but in 2002 it went through some updating and received a 1987 silverado long bed donor truck to help!! It received a complete change over to the 1987 chevy including the whole front clip from fenders forward and rear tailgate. Once that was done it got all new polyurethane body bushings and all the original trim from the doors and cab were shaved and had the holes welded in. The truck then received a full new two tone black and metallic blue paint job with silver pin-stripping. A custom billet grille was then bolted on the front during assembly to clean up the front and in the rear it received a drop in bed-liner and since this one wasn't going to see hard use it received the smooth chrome 2wd style bumper. Moving inside it had the whole dash swapped out to the 87 style along with the tilt steering and nice 4-spoke rally steering wheel, new carpet and buckets and center console from a k5 founds it new home in the cab along with a fresh coat of paint on the interior of the cab and a cool looking bolt in roll cage that can easily be removed. Underneath with received a full suspension lift and 35 bfg muds on nice rally wheels. The motor at that time was gone through to factory specs with headers and dual flowmasters out the back. The tranny and transfer case got new polyurethane mounts and a freshening up too! Once this truck was completed it has been drivin and enjoyed ever since so expect you usual surface scratches and little chips here and there, but it still looks great and shows very well. The only spec of rust is just some tiny bubbles on the outer cab corners that may just be in the paint prep. I do not know how many miles have been put on the truck since or that are one it in total. It always fires right up with two pumps of the throttle and it sounds like a muscle car with plenty of throttle. I just put new spark plug wires, oil change and starter in it so it should be ready for summer driving. Again this is no reserve so please bid with only intentions to pay!!!
