FOR A TON MORE DETAILED PICS OF WHOLE TRUCK FROM TOP TO BOTTOM GO TO-http://s495.photobucket.com/albums/rr317/binderchaser/orange%2073%20scout/ This beautiful scout is truly a one of a kind and these old IH's are almost impossible to find this nice now days. 3 years ago this scout received a full top to bottom Ih flame red (orange) paint job and it shows incredible with a deep shine and super high gloss finish not only on the outside but also on underside of hood, door jambs, inside window frame and top, inside tailgate, inner tub sides, front windshield cowl and inner lips of fenders. It was also fitted with black smooth bushwhacker extend fender flares, 33 bfg mud terrain and polished american racing baja's. The factory rear bumper was refinished in high gloss along with the metal door panels. The interior is very clean and has remained 80% stock over the years with the addition of a new smitty built roll bar that is same style as one's issued in the 70's, nice adjustable recaro front bucket seats, great sounding cd player with 4-6x9 speakers and grant gt wheel , but stock is included. The factory rear seats and front rubber matting is in great shape and show very little wear along with the dash that amazingly has no cracks or damage. The top still has the factory headliner intact along with the side panels that usually are long gone. This scout has a very strong and healthy sounding 345 V8 with factory 4-bbl intake, new 4-bbl carb with electric choke, headers and deep sounding dual exhaust. This scout is very dependable and always fires right up with one click of the key and it drives straight as a arrow with not even a single rattle going down the road! The body on this scout is very solid, but it does look like it is having some rust starting on the inside at the very back of the cargo area at both back corners and at very edge where it meets tailgate but you can get new panels now days and those are the easiest places to replace because it is not cosmetically going to affect the truck to repair it and its in a flat and easy area to get to. You may want to replace the lower half of the door weather striping some time soon as it is the original and showing age. This truck has been driving and enjoyed as they should so two paint issues to make not of are a chip behind driver rear tire and at bottom of passenger door it looks like they bumped something with the door and put minor crease in it but it still looks incredible and those can be spot painted for a reasonable amount since the paint is a factory color and pretty new.
