Volkswagon Thing This is a 1974 THING with a new rebuilt SCAT ENGINE upgraded to 1800CC. The Engine has about 12,000 miles on it. The THING drives great and is a fun little vehicle. I purchased it from California and the gentleman drove it to Nashville for me. I had it painted bright white and there was no rust. The windshield still folds down. This THING is in great shape for being a 1974 vehicle. Like all my other vehicles it is kept in a garage. The economy is making me sell my vehicles. Shipping and Payment A $500.00 non-refundable desposit is due 48 hours after close of the auction by PAYPAL. The remaining balance is to be paid with in 7 days by a certified check.
