2000 Chevy Silverado 2WD work truck, 4.8L Vortec V8 Automatic. This truck runs and drives great. I took it on a 9 hour trip to NJ with it a few weeks ago. It tracks straight down the highway, no shimmys. 4 wheel disc brakes with smooth rotors and good pads. 4 matching Uniroyal tires with good tread. New plugs, serpentine belt and tensioner pulley. Starts every time with the first turn of the key. The suspension is tight and quiet, no bad noises. The steering is tight and smooth. The interior is in very good shape for the year/miles no rips or tears. There are no bad lights on in the dash. Has cruise control. Cap is also included. Has a trailer towing hitch also. The BAD: It is for sale to out of state bidders ONLY (unless you are a registered NYS Auto dealer). It belongs to our dealership and the parking brake does not work so it will not pass inspection. The rockers under the door are rotted. There is rust on the bed but mostly just surface. It has plenty of dings/dents (passenger side door has a good one, but could probably be pressed out fairly easily, not creased). The check engine did come on and off on the trip to NJ but has never come on driving before then or since (code was for a misfire, so I replaced all 8 plugs, still has a slight skip at idle at 600rpm but runs very strong), so the light is off and has stayed off. The actual muffler has a hole in it, just makes the truck sound like it has an exhaust, it never bothered me. This is a very good work truck if you don't mind the body, I've driven it almost 1000 miles myself (including towing). I can drive and deliver the truck within 200 miles for a fee, please ask if you would like it delivered (near a train or bus route). If you have any questions feel free to ask. The rims are also rusty, they have a coat of paint on them. The engine doesn't smoke and doesn't appear to leak any fluids either. I'm sure I'll think of more I'll keep it posted here.
