1982 Toyota Celica 22r carberated 5 spd rear wheel drive.I bought this car from a service station owner roughly 6 months ago.I purchased it for my girl friend to drive to and from work a round trip totaling 102 miles per day. The original owner of the car had it towed to her local 76 service station for repair the service station informed her that the car needed a new fuel pump and gave her the price. Once the work was done she told them that something had come up and that she could not afford the repair .She told the owner that he should keep the car.At this point I found the car on craigs list for 1500.00 dollars and I went to see it.The car was when I found it and still is in very good original condition from the original blue paint and interior every thing is in pretty good condition.There are no cracks in the dash no rips in the seats and every thing else in the car works as it was originally designed besides the A/C which is in need of a service all it needs is Freon.The radio works the heater works etc.Since I purchased the car I installed a new carb battery plugs cap rotor wires did the brakes had it aligned and installed a set of decent used tires.The car runs great and gets very good mileage and wouldn't sell the car but I bought my girl friend a new jetta and I could really use the money from selling this car.I would like to keep the car and modify as it would make a great drift vehicle as its rear drive and the after market is loaded with parts to make it a lot of fun.I have driven the car every where and I trusted it enough for my own girl friend.All that the car needs is smog and a set of new tires and at this price who ever gets this car is getting a great deal.
