2001 Topaz Blue BMW Z8 is looking for a good home. I am the original owner and this car has been exceptionally well maintained. It is my hope that you can make an appointment to view the vehicle so that you can see and feel the quality and condition. Here are some further details that may help decide if this is the right luxury sports car for you: Original owner with clean title. ALL maintenance receipts provided (all scheduled maintenance performed by BMW along with interim oil changes). Recent full tune up including every recommended item performed at the BMW dealer. Very rare Topaz Blue with a black soft top. Two tonneau covers (Crema and Black) included. Matching hard top with stand included. The hard top has only been used once to ensure fit and finish are perfect. Z8 cover and battery tender included. This vehicle has always been garaged, covered and hooked up to the battery tender when not in use. Only Zymol Concours wax and other high-end Zymol products used for detailing. People often ask "is this a new model?" and are surprised to discover it is a 2001l! Although it is in excellent condition, there is some wear that you would expect from an exceptionally well maintained vehicle. There is a slight ding on the lower part of the trunk that I can't make show in the photos. It is barely noticeable and only from certain angles. As with all Z8's, there is some rust on the calipers. You really must see this vehicle to appreciate its condition. I have done almost all the detailing personally over the nine years I've owned the car. My hope is that the highest bidder will be someone who shares my passion for Z8's and will continue to drive and maintain it the same way the car has enjoyed to date. This vehicle has almost entirely been driven as a 'fairweather' machine and has rarely been exposed to the elements. The previous pictures were taken two months ago. Coffee table book is included. It is in the original box, comes wrapped in the same Crema leather used in the car and has an actual photo of the car right after it was hand-built! The reason this car has a black top vs. beige is that I found it impossible to keep the original beige top clean. BMW replaced the soft top with the black version under warranty. Personally I like the black top better and it adds one more dimension to make this vehicle truly unique. This is a requirement if the buyer is in CA and may help those who are out of state. The second tonneau cover is black. It is in it's original casing, has never been used, and is in absolute brand-new condition. The Topaz Blue hardtop comes with a rolling stand as well as the original Z8 hardtop cover. As noted above, it has only been on the car once and is in perfect condition. The license plate holder for the front plate is still in the original wrapping and is included with the car. Lojack was installed shortly after the car was purchased. Everything electronic is fully operational. The navigation; stereo, cd changer, alarm system, heated seats, lights etc are all working fine. The phone has antiquated technology and is not functional. There may be a retro-fit for this ... but I found that a bluetooth on your ear was much better than the built in system in any event. The 'Carpe Diem' license plate will be removed from the car. Vanity plates in CA stay with the owner of the plate.
