Sweet 78 vw bus, vin# 2282062614, fuel injected, 1.9 liter, mileage shows 86,000 but not sure if actual or not, i bought this bus 3 years ago in washington state, lots of good times and good road trips, the engine started to have some problems a year and a half ago so i have been working on it ever since and it has been garaged the last year and a half, had dreams of restoring it all just running out of time and money so need to sell it, not exactly sure what is wrong with the engine, could be simple, it currently runs but you will need to tow/trailer the bus home... The ignition is having problems but i can show you how to turn it on and you can hear the bus run, almost brand new tires, very nice original hubcaps, nice white rims, i completely insulated and refurbished the heater pipes underneath the bus, new battery, new spark plugs, brand new professionally installed panasonic cd player, wiring for both front and rear speakers, front bucket seats in good shape, back bench seat is custom made and folds out into a bed, back seat is not upholstered,wheel wells have been cleaned/ buffed and sealed with ultra durable new seal material, all lenses and lights come with bus, they have all been removed in preparation for paint and body work, the entire electrical system works perfectly, there is no radio antenna for the bus but they are readily available to buy and easy to install, i have removed all windows and all old window seals, all the windows are in great shape, i have removed all the old door seals and cleaned the door channels and painted them with very high grade POR-15 paint, all the old interior panels have been removed, very nice new headliner, brand new sun visors, brand new rear hinge covers for rear hatch door, 3 brand new lap seat belts for rear bench seat, i have all new window components for both passenger and driver windows except vent wing seals valued at 300 bucks from cip1 vw website i will throw in with purchase, i have complete blue carpet set to bus valued at 400 bucks from jbugs website i will throw in with purchase of bus, have extra headlight and brand new chains for the tires i will also throw in with the purchase of the bus, hub-cap puller, lots of extra fuses... The hard part of removing door and window seals is all done! there is some rust and looks to be some bondo/ filler stuff which is the unfortunate part but a good paint and body job could restore this beauty back to perfection, it is literally ready for paint and body work, whether you want to just get the bus running or restore it fully it would be a great bus, any questions feel free to call aaron at 605-228-6681, starting price is 1300 with no reserve, thanks for your time and happy bidding... aaron
