This car is being sold as-is and all sales/bids will be final. I have driven this car everywhere and it truly does run great. It gets about 22 to 26 mpg. HOWEVER it does need work. You can see details below. I am starting the bidding at $6000 because at most it will cost $3000 to repair it, and that is a very high estimation. If you know how to fix the car, you can make a pretty penny on this deal. I have all the records for the last 4 years that I have owned the car. The top goes up and down electronically and it works perfectly. The tires are good, so there is no rush to get new ones. Made in Germany. PLEASE EMAIL ME with any questions. CAR NEEDS WORKHere are the issues with the car,Oil leak-I hit a big speed bump and oil leak ensued. The car does not burn oil, but requires about half a quart a week. This repair I did not get an estimate for, but I would guess maybe $1500 on the highest end Power steering pump-The pump is not dead but you do get whining when turning. I got an estimate for this of $800 installed The driver side window goes up very slowlyThe button that rolls all the windows up at once does not workThe back bumper was hit and Progressive insurance estimated at $500 to repair. That price included 1 new bracket and a repaint.You can see by the pictures that the car does have minor dings on the body. No big chips missing except on the rear bumperBack right tail light is cracked and dented a bitRims are on bent, but show wear Front turn signals are burned out. $30 estimate. It has a 'Steptronic' transmission so it can be a manual if you want or an automatic. Steptronic is the name BMW gives its automatic transmissions that have a manual shift function. Even though it’s an automatic, you can upshift and downshift on command when the gear selector is in a separate shifter gate, which can be accessed by pulling the gear selector to the left. You then push up on the selector to upshift and pull down to downshift.
