Owned by Volvo collectors of over 50 years and restorers of classic Porsche and Volvo vehicles, (see our website at www.westbrothersauto.com ), being offered is a very solid and very rare 1981 Volvo 262 Bertone Coupe. This car is in very original condition with only 92,000 actual miles. Sold new in North Carolina, this car has resided in the same state for its entire life, having only three owners in her 29 years. It was last owned by a Volvo Master technician. He had recently installed a new water pump, new brake master cylinder, new brake calipers, rebuilt vacuum pump, new exhaust system, new fuel pump, new hoses and a rebuilt alternator. He also reconditioned the original fuel tank. We have all books and records since new for this wonderful car. This is a very, very nice example of one of only 912 coupes built in the final year of the 262 Bertone. This blue was only offered in the last year of production and it is the original color of the car, which adds to the rarity. This car runs and drives excellent, has a straight and clean rust-free body and super nice original Bertone-installed leather interior.
