You are bidding on a 1973 Volkswagan Beetle. We have owned the car for ten years. The bug has a current Pennsylvania state inspection and a clear title. We basically have used the car as our spare car in the event something happened to our primary car. Up until recently the bug was always garaged. The previous owner installed a new engine(not a used engine) and floor pans and invested almost ten thousand dollars in repairs and upgrades. It has the original paint. We have recently had the car inspected, tuned up, oil changed, new carburetor, and new muffler and tailpipes. This car has consistently averaged 27-28mpg. The tires are good and the battery is fairly new. However, there are some minor issues that need to be addressed. Those issues are cosmetic in nature. The drivers seat is badly torn and the top of the back seat is torn. The windshield, while still passing state inspection, is starting to fog up. One headlite ring is cracked and the car could use new heater vent covers. We have recently washed and waxed the car. There is no rust out and no dents and the pictures confirm that fact. The frame is not rusty and the car has never been in an accident. Car runs great at 65mph and tracks beautifully. Feel free to ask specific questions. Car is being sold as is.
