You are bidding on a 1985 Mercedes Benz 380SL 2 door convertible with optional hardtop. Last week this car was in perfect condition and a real joy to drive. I had it loaded on a car dolly as I was looking to trade it in on another car but the deal fell through. When I got it home, I had a brain fart and released the car dolly before putting the car in park and it rolled off the dolly, across the yard and slammed into a tree doing the damage that is shown in the pictures. The car has been covered since. It still runs and drives fine but will need to be repaired before using on public roads, or this would be a great parts car. Everything on this car is original except the radio which has been upgraded to include a CD player (original radio also comes with the car). There is a stand that is included for the hard top when it is off the car. The rag top is in perfect condition. Besides the body damage that is shown, the only other problem is that the A/C does not work, it will require a new compress and pulley. I have described this car to the best of my ability and as you can see with my 100% feedback I will deal with you honestly. I do NOT warranty this vehicle in any way, shape, or form. Although the car runs and drives fine, it cannot be driven until it is fixed, so, I can assist with delivery at a fair rate or buyer can pick it up at my location. I will require a $500.00 deposit (non-refundable) within 48 hours of the end of the auction on through PayPal. The remaining balance can be paid through PayPal or in cash when the buyer takes possession of the car which should be done within 7 days of receipt of the deposit. I hold clear title on this car so if the buyer were to fix it there would be no title issues.
