I must sell this rare and absolutely beautiful silver Targa which has a phenominal exhaust sound courtesy of Fabspeed because I am starting my own business and could use the money. My loss is your gain especially given the significant improvements I have made to the car. All service is up to date; nothing but Mobile 1! All panels are original and there have never been any dents, accidents or scrapes. I purchased the car over 2 years ago and had an extensive inspection done before the deal was ever signed. The inspector was amazed at the condition and I have only improved the car since then. Originally a southern car, I had the car delivered and purchased through my dealer in New Jersey who confirmed the condition and the inspection results before I handed over the money. The 996 with OEM am/fm/single cd has been garage kept since I purchased it and it has not seen bad weather. I invite anyone interested to obtain their own inspection or to just stop by and take a look. Exceptional condition 2002 Targa with low miles. Over $5,000 in upgrades made within past year alone including: 1. Fabspeed 996 S.S. Exhaust installed by Porsche specialist (Powertech of Rockaway NJ) in August 2009; 2. K&N air intake kit installed by Powertech in August 2009; 3. 19" black spoke and chrome (aftermarket) wheels; 4. Bridgestone low profile Fuzion ZR1 tires - Wheels and tires have less than 5,000 miles of wear and were installed last September. All of the improvements have resulted in about a 30 horsepower gain over the factory 996. You must visit Fabspeed or YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufzgMqtWOjE&feature=related) to listen to the sensational sound of the car with the Fabspeed exhaust which is only enhanced with the K&N intake system. Not too loud but definitely a significant improvement of the factory exhaust. The color combination of silver and black carried to the wheels cannot be more gorgeous. The only minor issues are as follows: 1. the front driver side rim has a minor scratch that would not show-up in the picture (I was about to have it buffed out but that was before the business opportunity came a long and the scratch is hardly noticeable). 2. stone chips to front of car normal to the 996 with its low front end. I will include OEM Porsche color matching touch-up paint with the sale. With the targa top you essentially get a hatchback which is amazingly roomy (see photo with glass lifted up for easy access to back seat area). The back seats can be folded flat for even more room. The back seats are big enough for 2 young children (my 14 and 11 year olds fit perfectly well) making the car reasonably practical. I have all books to the car and the tool kit as well. I welcome any and all questions and any and all inspection. Payment will only be by bank check, certified check or wire. The car will not be released until the funds are cleared. An initial deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours after the sale. Buyer is responsible for shipment although I highly suggest getting a ride to Morris County New Jersey so you can drive it home yourself. I reserve the right to end the sale at anytime.
