for sale a very nice 1955 ford f100 , this truck has a great body , the bed of the truck is brand new , new wood with stainless strips and bolts , it has all new glass , new vent frame , new chrome door handles and mirrors and hood emblems . the truck has a 1965 five bolt 289 with a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission . the motor runs good but does have some blow back the motor hold 80 lbs. of oil pressure going down the road and 50 when hot at a idle . the motor has a edlebrock intake with a new holley 4 barrel carb , new fuel pump , water pump , fan , radiator , hoses , belt , wires cap rotor plugs , it has dual exhaust that was on the truck when I bought it last year . New autometer gauges with billet dash insert , the seat is out of a 1997 chevy sivlerado . the floor shifter is lokar . It has drum brakes front and rear the wheel cylinders were rebuilt , I added a new power brake booster pedal kit to the truck . the tires are new too with the white walls painted on . they look real ten feet away , this truck just needs a new home , I had bought it for parts for my other truck ( 1953 f100 ) but after getting it home it was to good of shape to part out . I am sure I am leaving something out , the truck is listed local too . On May-20-10 at 16:26:45 PDT, seller added the following information: OK here is somemore items I forgot , the truck also has a new starter , gm alternator with the built in voltage regulator , the heater has a new heater core , I rewired the truck with a wiring harness made for these trucks from Bob's F100 . A new key switch , I installed a Pertronix electronic ingition in the point distributor . new wiper arms and blades . the doors have all new rubber seals and window fusie seals too . When I said the bed was new I mean the whole bed is new all new metal bed with the new wood and stainless strips , new taillights and red dot headlights . The truck drives good with no pulling left or right going down the road at 55 or 60 miles a hour . If i was to do it all over again I would have put the hood , bed and cab on my green truck and repainted it , and put my old parts back on the black truck . I know I am still leaving something out . thanks for looking and if it don,t sell I will still have a nice pair :) On Jun-07-10 at 03:35:20 PDT, seller added the following information: OK here is something else I put new rubber lines front and rear and ran new metal lines when I did the brakes and I just put on some window visors too . the seat is in good condition with no tears I have a seat cover on it because I liked the Army look , I am retired ARMY . This truck will make somebody a good start for the money or do like I do and just drive it and get the thumbs up all the time . Thanks for looking and good luck .
