We bought this VW 5 years ago as our daughters car for High School. We had all the typical work done, replaced one side of the floor pan, redid the engine, painted it, put in a new interior, etc. etc. Now shes in college and needs a 4WD so this baby has to go. The issues with the car are 1) The muffler will probably have to be replaced pretty soon; 2) the drivers door latch needs to be adjusted or replaced because it sometimes takes 2 swings to get it to latch; 3) It has an aftermarket ignition switch. I put that in because the plastic bits in the modern Brazilian-made original-style steering wheel column-switch kept breaking. I also have no idea if the mileage really is 33611 or 133611
