1966 Mercedes 230SL in excellent overall condition, Over the last few years the following work has been done to the car...new fuel pump, new water pump, all belts replaced, all hoses replaced, radiator flush and pressure test, drive shaft bearings, master cylinder , handbrake cable, new brake pads installed, cold start valve, major service..ie plugs, points, condenser, wires, oil and filter, air filter, valve adjustment....a new exhaust system was installed .this work was done to make the car useable and dependable.... The engine and transmission are in perfect working order...it has the much nicer manual gearbox, clutch is perfect..no odd noises from the drivetrain...this car also has power steering option which is nice The body of the car is in very good condition..it was repainted at some stage in its life but still shows well with plenty of luster to the paint...there are a few small stone chips to the front but the car shows very nice...original floors and trunk floor, the car has not been cut and welded..everything looks original..he interior is very nice and original...very nice seats and dash...original Becker radio in perfect working order. The floor mats would need replacement as they are stained...The glass and chrome are all in very nice condition. A new tan canvas top was fitted last year, the mechanism for retracting the soft top works perfect, the hard top is very nice with original headlining in excellent condition... All the electrics have been checked and are all in perfect working order...lights , turn signals, horn , radio etc Driving the car is a real pleasure...the car has plenty of power and accelerates through the gears flawlessly. everything works , very dependable .I have all the reciepts for the work done to the car...car can be inspected with proper notice at my home...email or phone (781) 414 9540
