Vehicle Detail
This is one clean 1973 Travelall I am the third owner (second owner was original owners Daughter). The original owner bought this rig in Sacramento Ca. and it spent most its life there. The original owner bought this out of a newspaper ad for international trucks and we still have that ad as part of the extensive documentatioin history that goes with this truck. The original owner took great pride in owning this rig and kept all service records for all work that has been done. I have owned the truck for about 3 years and really don't want to sell it but I could use the money. The interior of this truck is as nice as you will find for anything its age. Everything on this truck is original including the paint. The interior has blue seats that have only one little rip on the drivers side but not on the top where you sit (see Picture) The dash is very nice all guages and signals etc work, the dash has some light cracks but is nice for its age. The headliner is near perfect. This truck has AC but it is not working. The exterior of this truck has never been repainted, the wood paneling is faded but all in all the truck is pretty straight. It has a small dent by the rear door, and some minor scuffs and scrapes but it is the cleanest one I have ever seen in person. There is some minor rust around the drivers rear fender and a little by the passenger rear fender (even less than drivers almost unnoticeable)but it is very minor and totally fixable. The truck needs the exhaust repaired from in front of the mufflers back. The motor is the big dog the 392. It is a good runner but could probably use a little love, the lack of muffler has made me not want to drive her for a while so she has been sitting. I am guessing it would need a little work if you wanted to drive it home but it could be done. The trans is a 727 auto that shifts like it should. I really don't want to sell this truck because I feel it is the closest I will ever get to buying a new one, it is that nice. It is however a 37 year old truck so if you don't understand what that means maybe this is not the rig for you, It doesn't drive or get mileage like a new Honda. Please only bid if you are serious, Do not bid and then ask questions and try to back out, ask questions first. If you bid that means you intend to buy, this is a no reserve auction so bid it to win it! This is a 2 wheel drive! On Jun-07-10 at 21:36:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Rear tank does not work and may be rusty, exhaust muffler is not on one side along with tail pipe.On Jun-07-10 at 21:46:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I added new pictures all of the bad stuff. There is mostly pictures of the drivers rear fender where the rust is the worste and its really not bad. The last two pictures are of the passenger side and it is near nothing. I added one of the windshield frame so you can see the rest of the car is rust free. I added one of the bad part of the drivers seat other than that rip and a couple cracks in the dash the interior is a total survivor. As for running she starts right up but is missing the drivers side exhaust from the muffler back, and without it the car sounds like crap. I hope this brings down more money than the $1300 because it is worth way more I think. It needs so little to be a total cream puff. Documentation is incredible with this thing. This thing was truely loved.
