1974 Jeep J10 4x4 Pickup Truck. Too many vehicles forces the sale of my old favorite. This truck is NOT stock. A lot of work has already been done, but more is needed. The frame has been repaired, carburator has been redone, interior has fresh paint and carpet etc. This truck is currently NY State inspected and is driven daily. The truck had the stock 360 v8 motor, and auto transmission that is now a floor shift NOT on colum. This NOT Quadratrack, it has transfer case 2H, N, 4H, 4L with lockout hubs. 4x4 worked fine this past winter. The odometer reads just over 65k miles but I have no idea if thisactual milage. As far things that need to be done: Truck box floor is rusted through pretty bad and needs new floor basically. There is some minor dents and rust on rest of body but overall pretty good condition for a '74 Jeep truck. Tryck needs new paint as well as the top of cab has paint peeling off and is down to metal. Both of the INNER fenders are shot and need to be replaced. I have two good (used) innner fenders that go with the truck, they just need installed. The truck has basic new black carpet put in , but has two older blue cloth bucket seats that need to be fastened into cab. The cab floor has been rusted and was long ago repaired before I purchased the truck. I believe the tires are 34"x 14.50"x 15" and are weather checked and will need replaced. I am uncertain of how these were made to fit without rubbing but they do. I am guessing re-arched springs?? There is NO body lift. If you are looking for a perfect Jeep truck , this is not it. If you are looking for a capable daily driver that has had 50-60% of the work already done, this old Jeep is for you. The truck also is set up with a couple "Cherry-Bomb" type exhaust, but is not all that loud. The truck's steering is pretty "sloppy" also. I expect a box rebuild/replace is in order. As far as the electrical goes, some work is needed as well. The truck at this time is using a toggle on dash along with keyed ingnition to start. It starts/runs fine. I just had a new fuel pump put on this past week. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, wipers all in working condition. Gas gauge or sending unit is NOT working, and gas filler opening is now located in bed floor NOT on side of truck bed. One last thing to point out (is obvious), is that I have switched the front grille over to the older "Gladiator" style. I no longer have the stock grill. PLEASE READ all of the above information BEFORE bidding. Truck is being sold AS IS with no returns or refunds! I have done my best to describe the overall condition of the truck as best I can. It MUST be considered "Fair" condition at best. Please bid accordingly. $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction close. Remaining balance paid in full (prefer CASH in person) before the truck goes ANYWHERE. I have no problem keeping the truck if reserve is not met.
