Starting a family some toys need to go!!! 2wd vw sand rail approximately 80 hp. top of engine was rebuilt last summer. new and near new items----- new alternator, 90+ % tread on tires mudders on back small street tires on front, ignition was completely replaced 2 yrs ago from the plugs to the ignition key and everything between. The buggy is street legal here in alabama and drives down the road very good for this type of vehicle. easily cruises at highway speeds. OK for the bad ( paint is crappy at best but is still hangin in there, carpet on driverside is worn completely through, the body is in normal shape with the usual offroad wear but nothing noteable that would be a problem, the worst thing that i know of at the moment is that the carb need to be retuned. the problem is thats when at around mid throttle it wants to flood a bit which can cause backfireing. This shouldnt be a problem for a decent mechanic. I don't have the time or money at the moment to fool with it as I had a vette that needs my attention and a wifes biological clock to tend to. 4cyl vw 1972 80 horse 4 spd manual 30x9.50 15 tires 5 point harnesses headlights taillights brake lights and several driving lights all function. I'm pricing this at or below most of the buggies I've seen on here that are not nearly as nice because she needs to go. It should probably be trailered until the carb problems have been resolved due to the flooding, but is driveable.
