Up for auction is a 1997 Chevy 3500 crew cab diesel. This truck has a 6.5L turbo diesel and a 4l80e automatic transmission. The engine runs pretty well, when is is first started it smokes a bit but clears up after a little bit. I'd say the injectors probably need nozzles. The transmission shifts good. The body of the truck is somewhat rough. The truck currently has no bed on it, it will be sold as a cab chassis. The frame looks to be in pretty decent shape, has the normal surface rust. The leaf springs look like the were replaced pretty recently, they still have stickers on them. Overall this truck runs pretty well and would make a good work truck even though it could use some cosmetic work. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This item is sold as-is, where is.
