listed for sale is my fathers 1933 packard 4- door sedan, which we are not for sure what series it is. the car was purchased from the original family in 2001 from new haven, ct. The car has been modified as a streetrod with no cutting anywhere so if someday it was to go back as an original car. We have installed a 454 with a 400 turbo automatic transmission that came out of a near perfect 1977 surburban with only 46,000 miles, which was really a shame but this heavy car needs the horses to pull, sweet running motor it is. The front end is the original straight axle that has had ford truck spindles and brake system, power rack n pinion steering and power brakes. The rear end is a 69 road-runner dana, posi-trac. New coker tires with new steel wheels, trim ring and caps. A new painless wiring kit has been installed but needs finishing. All new gauges and chrome. As u can see, alot of hard work is completed. My dad is now 84 and would like to see someone finish the car. With interior, exhaust, glass, and some other touches, this would be a nice packard. It has an 137 inch wheel base. We do have some nice leather seats out of a cadilac that goes with the car. The car is offered at a fair market reserve. I dont need anyone telling me what it is worth for there is never been a cheap packard and have seen very few made into a streetrod. Buyer is responsible for his own shipping. Winning bidder will need to pay a 20% deposit by wire only within 48 hrs and the balance of purchase within 5 days.
