Up for sale is a 1961 Cadillac sedan Deville. It has the original 390 engine; power seats, power brakes, power steering, power windows, all of which work. All the lights work; the radio worked for a time and has since stopped working. The air conditioner turns but the air is not cold; have not checked into it, could just need freon. It is mechanically sound, runs and drives great. Drove it 120 miles round trip and it made it there and back with no problems. The odometer is stuck on 63000, not sure as to the exact mileage. Very solid on the floor and in the trunk; rust spots on each of the quarter panels under each door, typical of a vehicle this old. Some rust on the hood and trunk. Interior was redone a few years back, very nice inside. Put new belts and hoses on, replaced the water pump, fixed the power brakes, installed seat belts; has a small oil leak, in the valve cover gasket I believe, drips right onto the exhaust manifold, causing it to smoke somewhat. Put brand new 4 1/2" wide whitewall tires on, hardly been driven on. Interior and mechanically solid, just needs some exterior work. This is a no reserve auction, goes to the highest bidder.
