Vehicle Detail
This is a running parts car. I was driving it around town all day yesterday. The engine runs beautifully, and the transmissions shifts AWESOME. You will not be dissappointed. It has grey leather interior which is in good shape for the year, its all there, nothing has been removed from the car. I recently sold the rear end out of it, so now the car won't move. It still starts and runs great, however. The Eclipse is a victim of NY salty roads. The subframe of the car that the control arms bolt onto has seen better days. The car drove fine, but its just unsafe in that one spot. Engine has been recently serviced with new timing belt, oil pump, gears, belts, water pump. The turbo spools fine and the engine does not leak or burn any oil. The transmission shifts great without any notching or grinding. Overall, if you're looking for a 2g donor car with an awesome transmission and engine, and you need to put together another 2g eclipse/talon, then this is what you need. Trust me, for the price you will pay for this, you will be very happy. Best way to contact me is to send an email to DrewJ@overboostn.net. I will respond within 15 minutes. You will need to come pick this up. It has to be on a flat bed since the rear end was taken out along with the spindles. It sits on 2 jackstands holding the rear off the ground. On May-21-10 at 05:33:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Since the rear control arms were in such bad shape, I just wanted to add that they were cut to remove the rear axle. I had a kid come down to remove the rear end, and he removed the passengerside axle because thats all he needed off the car. I told him he had to buy the whole rear end. He said he was coming back down to remove the rest of the rear end, but he hasn't yet. So..........the rear differential is actually still in the car. It just hasnt been unbolted yet. Chances are it will stay in there and I will give him some money back. If BUY IT NOW is used, I will give this kid some money back, leave the rear differential and driverside rear axle in the car. You can call me at 315-271-0469 and I can explain better. Yes, the car can be repaired and the parts can be replaced so it can be driven. **Rear end is now included in the sale, minus the passenger side rear axle, and spindle assembly (wheel bearing etc..)On May-27-10 at 10:39:03 PDT, seller added the following information: This car can be parted out for double of the Buy It Now price, all day. I'm too busy, partially too lazy, and not motivated enough to pull off parts and ship them in the mail all over the world. Pull the engine/transmission, part out the rest of the car, and enjoy a perfectly good engine/transmission.
