Up for bid, 1968 Chevy short bed pick up Black on Black. Chevy 350 SB backed up by 350 trans. Edelbrock carb, aluminum manifold, headers, with a mild cam nothing crazy, trans has shift kit. So, it feels and sounds like it has bigger balls than what it actually does, but it's more of a cruiser. Power steering, power brakes with disc brakes in front. Truck comes with A/C from factory but its missing all of the underhood components. Chevy Rally wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich tires. Lowered about 3" in front and 4" out back. New shocks at all 4 corners. New front and rear bumpers. Chrome on face of truck is like new. Paint is better from a distance but not bad for black. Interior has newly covered bench seat, new weather stripping on doors and cab. New steering wheel B and M floor shifter. The only factory gauges not working are the battery and water temp. but I do have an after market water temp gauge right below the dash. I got the original oil gauge to work but haven't had time to mess with the two mentioned. Tach is after market but not wired up. New inner fender wheel wells, steel cowl hood. Now for the not so good stuff. Good ol' Cancer!!! starting to get some on lower parts of door and lower part of the tailgate. Which are pretty easy fixes. Cab corners are fine. They were replaced about 3 years ago by previous owner. Also starting to show some signs of rust along the rain gutter on roof. Since I live in sunny and rainy South Florida that is the ONLY reason why truck is up for bid beacuse I don't want it to get worse. I drive the truck quite often with my son to local shows and it's always been a head turner. Very dependable and has never left us stranded!!! Great Solid Truck that needs very little work.
