Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. Up for bid is my 1999 Mustang Cobra Convertible. Overall, the car is in good shape. There are some scratches in the paint. There are Cobra decals near the headrests. I bought this off of a dealer in Texas last September. It went to storage, and was just pulled out. I unfortunately do not have room for this car anymore. The title is NYS and free and clear. The cd player is a DVD/CD fold out 7 inch touch screen. This car also has 4 new tires, was NYS inspected last September, and an oil change was just done. There are no warranties with this, expressed or implied. As with all my sales, this one will be final, no refunds, exchanges, etc... I only was able to drive it for about a month. It has a lot of power and I really hate to see it go, but I would rather have someone that can use it than have it sit around. Good Luck. I will ship, at buyers expense, and I will also help in whatever way I can. For those that need shipping, I have used Kapa Transport in the past, and they have been cheap and excellent. Just a suggestion. I am not expecting to get what I paid for it. I am open to offers. Please send me any offers. I took the car to a mechanic to make sure everything is 100%. I do not want anyone to have ANY surprises. The mechanic told me that this car is great. It has plenty of power, and everything is tight, with the exception of the rear end. I was informed that the rear end is a little loose. Nothing major, but I was told it would cost me about $800 for him to rebuild it and put in different gears-if I wanted them. The mechanic stated he cannot open the pumpkin, and is only speculating. ANother mechanic told me that the play is normal because of the manual transmission. They both test drove it and said everything rode fine. I just want to get everything out there. And yes, this car has an independent rear end. This car is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to cancel this auction at any time.If you are wondering why autocheck states there are 78k on the car. From what I could gather from Texas, the previous owner wrote the wrong mileage down, causing the discrepancy. Since it was a dealer purchasing the car, I am guessing they really didn't care or pay attention. The NYS title states mileage exempt due to being 10 years old. I was basically told there is nothing Texas can do. NY stated that it is not an issue. Please bid only if you have the funds available.
