It is a 912 paint code correct Sunflower Yellow example that has been refinished to factory correct color codes. The paint was recently refinished to a headturning slick driver qualitybase/clear urethane that is sure to stop traffic. In the process all the chrome, stainless trim, emblems were either replaced or re-chromed with factory correct new OEM parts. The 15” rally steel wheels were refinished, new center caps and new white line tires that give it that an awesome stock appearance. The exterior is a major headturner and stops traffic anywhere this car goes. The interior has been gone thru and looks very nice thru-out. Under the hood is the #'s matching 350/270hp rebuilt motor with rare factory AC, and power 4 wheel disc brakes all the orig. details abound very cool indeed. Frame is solid and under carriage is clean and always kept dry.keep in mind it is a driver quality 5 footer paint job, a resand and buff would make it look awesome,drivers seat has a small tear in bottom of the back ,door spacing needs to be adjusted for that crisp look,headlight doors open slow and the rear by the license plate has a slight tweak in it (looks crooked) if you look straight down,convertable top is hard to latch in rear drivers side,gas gauge doesnt work. The Mechanicals; The heart of this 1971 Corvette Roadster is its rebuilt 350 V-8 engine with its original stock GM intake manifold 4 barrel rebuilt carb. with low miles time since completion. It is mated to a smooth shifting 4 speed muncie transmission that has excellent performance. The rear is a bullet-proof 12 bolt posi-traction with factory highway gears. The dual exhaust is new chambered for just the right sound and aluminized. All mechanical systems have been gone thru and have been rebuilt or replaced where it was needed. The performance is legendary and will leave you breathless this Stingray runs strong ready to drive.
