Performance: full M4 stainless exhaust (sounds Very healthy ) with pins instead of bolts, so the slip-on mufflers can be slipped off for straight pipes easily ( sounds AMAZING ), adjustable swingarm extensions, TRE ( timing retard eliminator ), 43 tooth rear sprocket, modified airbox, K&N filter, upgraded charging system, stainless rear brake line, adjustable lowering links, Power Commander with tune for M4's ( eliminates the infamous "dead spot" in the stock fuel map ), new NGK plugs, and the tires are Conti Attack rear and Bridgestone Battle Ax front. Other: from the pic left to right, new clear windscreen, original windscreen, voltage regulator, stock rear brake line, rear cowl, lots of extra misc hardware, battery float charger, original length chain plus extra, rear tire hugger, original rear shock linkage, original chain tensioners, original crank, extra parts motor, turn signals, muffler heat shields, original side fairings, original 39 tooth rear sprocket. Also: there is a switch panel on the tree ( power switch, colling fans switch, blue led switches ), soft grips, The story: bought this bike 2 years ago as a non-running project bike, bought starter solenoid and ecu and got it running, started with the customising, got it on the road, noticed it had water in the oil ( found out that one of the welsh plugs in the head popped out because the previous owner didnt believe in antifreeze in cold weather >:-/ ), got that fixed and back together, soon after, one of the big end bearings on one of the rods spun ( because of the water in the oil), completely tore the motor apart, cleaned it, new crank, resized rods, new oil pump, all new bearings, got that reassembled and back in the bike, first time back out, first gear was acting up ( later found a thrust washer under the bench ), took it right back apart down to the crank and trans shaft's, put the thrust washer back on the shaft next to the 1st gear gear on the driven shaft, inspected all the gears, the shafts, shift forks and bearings to make sure they were still good, completely reassembled the motor, put it back in the bike, and it was back to 100% in every aspect for a good while, then developed a slow oil leak only while it was running, figured out it was the mechanical seal on the water pump shaft ( a common, infamous design demon of these bikes ), pulled the side cover off to replace the seal and when you pull the side cover off there is inline, before the oil pump, a screen, and there was some metal bits in the screen ( might be residual from earlier problem, i dont know, i dont have the motivation to take it apart again ), put the cover back on as is and that is how it sits right now. SO IT WILL NEED MOTOR WORK. if i hadnt pulled the side cover off i wouldve never had known, there was no strange noises, vibrations or power loss, so i dont know where the metal came from ( ive heard spun bearings before, and it doesnt sound like it ) I dont want to detour you from purchasing the bike, but i do want you to know what is going on with the bike so there are no unwanted surprises. The good: if you are familiar with these bikes, you know they are very unique. I am NOT exaggerating AT ALL when i say everywhere i went with this bike EVERYONE would whip right around, look, and smile just at the sound alone. When you pass someone they just stare as you blow by em. Because of the nature of the motor, being a high compression 90 degree v-twin, it has an amazing amount of power from idle right up through till redline ( the power curve is actually still climbing when it hits the rev limiter ), and because of the twin, the power is instant and pleasantly snappy. The extensions help keep the front on the ground, although i imagine the front could still come up with no problem. The handling is still very good even being stretched and the dual 6 piston callipers on either side of the front tire slow you down in quite a hurry. By no means is this a show bike, there are imperfections. But as long as you're not concerned with a perfect spit shine every waking moment of your life and want something that grabs attention everywhere and looks good passing everything on the road, this is a great bike. The odometer reads 31,979, but i dont believe its the original speedo and the present motor is the 2nd motor and has been rebuilt ( spare motor was original ) I have more pics and a short video when it was running that can be emailed by request. You are more than welcome to ask any questions you may have and all questions will be gladly answered. If you are not planning on picking the bike up, you will have to arrange shipping, but i will be available and happy to assist getting it on the shipping truck ( dont forget about the shipping for the other parts ) Paypal payment of $200 due within 48 hours of auction end and remaining payment due upon pick up or prior to being shipped.
