derkaferhaus Store This is a fairly straight 1964 VW Beetle that doesn't have much rust. It would make a great start for a project or a nice driver the way it is. The tires have some tread left on them, but are in fair shape from sitting outside. The brakes were just gone through. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and front rubber lines. It has a good running 1200cc engine that has had a recent tune-up, and the transmission shifts fine through all gears and doesn't pop-out of any. The car has a few new items like the windshield, windshield rubber, and running boards. The interior is fairly straight with a few tears in the headliner. The driver seat and top of the rear seat are pretty ruff. After market steering wheel and new carpet. The pan has been patched on the driver side and there are a couple small spots of rust coming through in the battery tray area. The car has rust starting in both front wheel wells, starting in both rear pockets of the heat channels, rust through in the rear body mounts, rust through in the rear bumper mounts. None of the rust is that bad and is all very repairable. The car is still running the original 6 volt electrical with an old Sears AM radio. The car could use a paint job and some minor details and it would be a good looking little car again. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
