Vehicle Detail
Thanks for looking, your viewing a 1984 Honda Shadow VT700. Bike has low miles and is in need of minor repair. Selling for Part's or Repair with No Reserve, bid what your willing to pay. It does Run, and is well worth repairing or could easily be a great investment for someone wanting to part it out . Seem's to have clutch issue's, doesn't dis-engage when lever is pulled in. Bought for my Fiance to learn on and she has since lost interest in riding solo. I do have a replacement Hyd. Clutch Cylinder, just hasn't been put on. Battery was replaced in 2008, and was repainted at some point, with custom "Shadow" lettering on side cover's. Tires are good. 26" seat height makes it ideal for novice or seasoned rider's. If there's no interest in the complete Bike as-is, I will part out. So if your looking for part's only, watch the auction and if it doesn't sell I will tear it down and part out. $200 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hour's of auction end through Paypal, balance in 7 day's. Will store for additional 2 week's if needed. But it must be paid in full and some form of communication will be required. It's a one time deal, if it doesn't sell it will be parted out. On May-19-10 at 15:44:37 PDT, seller added the following information: How much are picture's worth ?? Well these were taken today by request of potential bidder's. Best I can do to prove that it does Run, although would recommend fresh gas. It was treated with Sta-Bil but there was some popping. 1st pic - turning on, 2nd pic - prior to start, 3rd - Idle 1000 rpm, 4th - almost 3,000 and notice temp gauge. Everything work's, with that being said.... the 5th picture may be the "Clutch Issue", there is fluid leak by the bleeder valve.. ( could be that or Allen bolt behind it ??? ) Please use your judgement when bidding as I'm just stating what I know. Thanks again and good luck if you decide to bid.
