What we have here is a 1968 Camaro RS convertible that I purchased as a project. I have determined that it is just to much for me so I am offering it for auction. I will do my best to describe it's condition and the parts that are included as well as the condition of those parts. This car has been completely stripped, sandblasted and is currently in primer. Both quarters have been replaced and as you can see by the pictures were seamed on top. Floor pans, top dash panel and trunk floor have been replaced. Driver side door in excellent shape passenger side door needs work at bottom. Right front fender in excellent shape , left front is a new GM replacement, I also have the original L/F fender which could be repaired. The hood and trunk lid are in great shape. The body does need two outer rockers and repair work on both rear leaf spring front mounts, not rust repair but rather installation of the actual mounts (not included) . Front subframe has been blasted, painted and has all new bushings. All steering linkage is new and the complete front suspension is installed. All body mounts and hardware are new. The motor is a non original 350 . I don't know if it is 2 or 4 bolt mains but it was freshly rebuilt at a machine shop ( I have receipts) . The trans is a rebuilt turbo 350 with a shift kit , I have a receipt for this as well. Also included is a 12 bolt posi rear with 3.08 gears . Housing was stripped and painted ,axle bearings and seals have been replaced. Also new multileaf rear springs go with the car. I do have all the original interior , top motor , pistons and frame . All hide away headlight parts , side glass and door hardware. All of those items are in original condition and will require clean up and paint. I did not take this car apart but rather aquired it in this condition. I believe that most of the parts necessary to reassemble the car are present but will require restoration. As for paperwork the car was registered (about 15 years ago) in NY and most recently had a temp reg issued in CT. Since CT is a "no title state" for cars of this age there is no title for the car. All proper VIN' are present and I have the cowl tag as well. Tough to cover everything here but this car is a nice foundation for a restoration.
