This is a 1997 Del Sol Si with an automatic transmission and currently about 147,000 miles and going because I drive this car to work every day. I bought this car on Ebay about 2 1/2 years ago and enjoyed it very much. But I have to downsize my life, so I am offering it here on Ebay. The car runs very good, and is very dependable. I drive it every day to work here in the mountains of western PA, about 50 miles round trip. It gets great gas mileage, runs nice and still feels strong. This car has NOT been modified with all the crappy aftermarket parts that take away the honda-like driving experience of an easy comfortable to drive car. This car can be driven every day, and should be. The car has brand new Honda Brake pads and rotors on all 4 wheels (just 2 weeks ago). The wiper linkage was also replaced at that time. I upgraded the factory wheels to 15" with new tires almost 2 years ago. I have also added a Viper Keyless entry and Sony CD player, both professionally installed. Since I have owned it, I have only had it serviced by Honda. The seats are in perfect conditon....no tears, no burns, no spots or stains, and the side bolsters still have their shape. The door armrests are in good condition which is rare and commonly ripping on these cars with these miles. Everything works as it should unless it is noted below: The hood release cable sticks after you open it. It needs lubed somewhere. The Automatic transmission lever is beginning to stiffen up a little bit going into Reverse, I assume there is an adjustment that can be made. There is a slight wine or whirr that comes from the engine every now an then. Doesn't sound like a belt, more like an emission gremlin, but I really don't know. It doesn't happen often enough to diagnose The body condition is what I call used, possibly a victim of street parking in it's past. No rust, but dings and scratches everywhere. One dent on the right front fender about the size of a baseball, starting to show surface rust around the edge. The clearcoat on the spoiler is peeling. There is rust on the front outer seat mounts. Possible from a past leaking roof panel (but it hasn't leaked since I have owned it). I was rear-ended almost 2 years ago. That repair was done by an expert collision shop, and the rear bumper was replaced. The tail lights, trunk lid, and license plate panel were never touched in the incident, that's how mior it was. It is ready for 2 more tires. But other than that, it is inspected in PA until March 2011 and ready to become someone else's daily driver! I am offering this with NO RESERVE and in as-is condition. I will even deliver this car to the Pittsburgh International Airport area if you are flying in from out of town. Just let me know, otherwise the car can be seen and driven if you are in southwestern PA near Fayette / Somerset counties.
