1958 MGA Roadster. This car originally was a gift from an uncle to an aunt as a wedding present in 1958 and was given to me as a gift in the Summer of 2008. Since 1958 it has always been garaged and lovingly cared for. The color is Glacier Blue. It was professionally restored in the Summer of 2009. Restoration included sanding to metal for prime and repaint (including trunk and engine compartment), replaced clutch, replaced wiring harness, water pump, engine electrical, brakes, interior including leather seats, interior panels, and burl wood dash, tires, lots of chrome, sandblasting and repaint of original wire wheels, and much more. While not installed, I have the original working AM/FM radio. You may contact the restorer if you wish. His contact info is included in the photos. He was so proud of it, he made new business cards with a picture of the car on it. The car is never driven in the rain and is currently garaged in Virginia. There are NO rust issues with this vehicle. The four speed transmission shifts smoothly ane the engine runs great. All gages function properly and measures such as oil pressure and water temp are well within normal limits. Mileage shown in the photo is accurate although I have driven it a very small amount since the photo. The odometer has not been reset or gone over its limit.These are accurage, original miles. Only known problem is the trip odometer does not work. I have the original bill of sale and owners manual. A non-refundable $500 deposit in the form of a cashier's check is required to be in my hands within 48 hours of auction close (Fed Ex overnight). PayPal is ok too. The balance due must be paid within seven days of auction end by cashiers check or cash in person. Shipping of the car is the buyers responsibility and must be completed within two weeks of auction end. I reserve the right to contact the bank that issues the cashiers check to verify validity.
