Up for auction is a 1998 K2500 Chevy Silverado ext cab shortbed with only just over 53,000 original miles due to periods of sitting because the original owner was a traveler and the truck sat alot when he was out of town. This is the heavy 8600lb gvw 3/4 ton. Here is what the truck has... 12" suspension lift 3" body lift 44" boggers with mountain crusher weld rims 8 bolt 10.5" 14 bolt rear axle and independant front suspension Skid plates front and rear dual shock mounts on each side of rear end and triple shocks up front 3/4 ton leaf springs in the rear with helper springs also, no lift blocks.has the good shackle drop brackets. brush guard with warn 9,000lb winch.the winch comes with a wire remote.winch does work great it just needs a new cable. spot lights front and rear wired to toggle switches on center console. Heavy duty reese hitch with big drop down 7.4 Vortec big block 454 motor stock, tons of torque.no leaks. 4L80E transmission works excellant no leaks no hesitation,shifts awesome. Fold down side steps make it easy to get in and out of. All leather interior with power seats and captains chairs. interior is very nice only the driver seat has a little tear in it. 7" dvd/mp3/cd player with 12" subwoofer and 1000watt amp Here are the few things wrong with the truck... Needs a front end alignment Needs 2 new front tires (tires are bald in front but great in rear) Has tiny rust hole in passenger side cab kind of by the cab corner.other than that the truck is very solid. The rear bumper is dented on drivers side witch caused a little dent in rear of bed. has a tiny exhaust leak.(still has stock catalytic converters and 02 sensors.) Very seldomly windshield wipers dont kick on i think its a switch under the hood that needs cleaned. Needs plugs and wires just a simple tune up.sometimes it cranks for a few seconds before it starts and you can hear a miss sometimes im almost 100 percent sure it is just spark plugs and maybe wires. This truck is a great running truck goes does the road decent for being big. it does shake and wobble a little bit because the alignment is off. All it needs is an alignment and new tires on the front. This truck would be the Perfect solid axle swap project!!!! I was told the truck has been regeared but im not positive it does feel like it has at least 4.88 or 5.13 it spins the 44's like nothing! Several thousand was put into the buil of this truck in 2003.I hate to get rid of it but i dont have the time for it anymore as i have other projects on my house now.If it were up to me id put a ford dana 60 on the front and it would be a mean truck.the drive shaft angles are perfect ive never had a u joint go bad yet.I do have a loan on the truck still and im not sure if i could get the title the same day as someone buys it or not but if not the bank or myself will send it by mail,thats stuff we could figure out by phone or in person.
