1980 W123 Mercedes 300CD coupe Diesel with automatic transmission. 174K original miles. 172 Anthracite gray with black MB-Tex interior. Exterior has no rust, other than some isolated rust on the bottom of the doors. The body is straight. The only damage I could find was a small ding on the passenger front fender, but its not very noticeable. The paint is very shiny. The front and rear window rubber is like new. The glass is very good. All the trim and chrome is excellent. Mechanically this car is very good. All systems work well on this car, including ice cold A/C; climate control has been converted to a manual cable system which works very well. Transmission was rebuilt around 140K. Front suspension was rebuilt around 150K. New front brakes, engine mounts and recent valve adjustment. This car starts right up and has top compression; makes good power and drives very well. Transmission shifts very smoothly and has no flaring or slipping at all. The previous owner did his own oil changes every 2000 miles with Delo 400 oil. All other service was performed by an independent Mercedes shop. Original California car with both blue plates. New tires just installed. The only non original item on this car is an aftermarket Sony CD player with new speakers front and rear. Located in Santa Maria(Santa Barbara CO).
