Honestly I feel really bad selling this car, and i'm sure my family will be angry with me for doing it. But it makes financial and emotional sense to me, they will eventually understand why it was necessary. I simply don't have room or time in my life to pamper the car like it deserves. Please don't bid unless you plan to take great care of it, it is in near new condition right now and you should keep it that way. Its so rare to find an honest, clean, and well taken care of vehicle these days. I wish I could apply a bidding restriction to the tune of "only people that will take great care of it" hah. Please read everything thoroughly. This car was passed down to me through the family, and I am so grateful for their love and help. It was owned by my grandparents and garaged its whole life. They barely put any miles on it, infact i've probably put more miles on it in the 6 months i've driven it than they did the entire time they owned it. I am an ASE master tech and service manager currently, I will describe the vehicle in detail so you know exactly what you're getting. Quick summary: This is a 2001 Honda Accord EX V6 auto V-Tec sedan fully loaded and in near new condition. It was in one small fender bender a very long time ago and was repaired by honda. Other than that no damage whatsoever. Title is clean and clear, in my name. I have all of the maintenance records that will go with the vehicle. The airbag recall has been performed. It got regular 27 point inspections and oil changes every 3,000 miles. interior: The vehicle feels and smells like new in every corner of the interior. The dash is perfect, head liner is perfect, trunk is perfect, steering wheel is perfect, all 4 door panels are perfect. You would have to hunt for awhile to find any flaws. Every single thing works like brand new, all the lights, seats, controls, glove box, shifter, speakers, etc... This vehicle does have the 6-disc in dash cd-changer with premium sound system. It also has the programmable home link garage door opener. It has zero leaks, smells, rattles, or any problems in general. The leather seats have no tears or cracks. They could use some leather treatment though to sustain their life since theyre in such good shape. There are a couple small scratches near the ignition key cylinder just from people trying to find the slot, very common and un-noticeable unless you stick your head in between the steering wheel and dash. The gauge cluster has zero scratches on it and is crystal clear. The sunroof works perfect tilting up and sliding half or all the way back. Every button and door handle feels like new, the seats are very comfortable. All in all a very luxurious feeling that comes with honda reliability that you wont find with other over priced luxury brands. Exterior: The exterior is a gold color that SHINES like new. It is washed and waxed regularly since my good friend manages a car wash. It only has one tiny ding on the passenger door, and a couple minor scratches that can only be seen in a certain light, other than that the exterior is flawless. Every panel fits flush and even with the rest, all the lenses are clear and without scratches or cracks. It is clear that this car was babied most of its life. The wheels are the rarer fat 5 spoke design, the rarest of accord wheels that year. They are alloy and the clear coat is in perfect shape. They clean up easily and have no burnt on brake dust whatsoever since they are cleaned (in and out) regularly. The color works well to keep the vehicle looking sharp even when it picks up some pollen or dust, unlike black or white that are impossible to keep clean looking. Mechanical: This car was ordered with the optional 3.0L V-Tec V6 that has twice as much power as the 4 cylinder cars. And i'm glad that it was, it has gotten me out of some on ramp merging scrapes that a 4 cylinder never could have in an auto trans sedan. It has plenty of power to merge and pass whenever you want. The main reason this engine is so desirable though is the noise and vibrations. The 4 cylinder engines are very noisy and un balanced by design, this V6 runs so smooth and quiet. It allows you to cruise the interstate in comfort unlike the 4 cylinders that are constantly down shifting and trying to find their power range. This vehicle needs absolutely nothing to drive cross country tonight if you wish. But it will need 2 items in the up coming future. In the next 10k miles it will require new tires, these are simply running out of tread. They have all worn even though which tells you the alignment is in good shape. There are no vibrations, shimmy, shakes, pulling, or any other bothersome driving characteristic. The brakes have plenty of pad life left front and rear. The suspension never squeaks, pops, or wanders. The ride quality is leaps and bounds ahead of american vehicles. And the care free reliability isn't bad either. Just like any other honda or toyota all you have to do is change the oil and drive. I would recommend a transmission flush within 10k miles at your local dealer as it is getting to that mileage. It will also need the timing belt done in 20k miles with spark plugs of course. I say need in that I believe you need to but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle right now, it runs like a brand new vehicle and I guarantee will continue to do so as long as you keep up with the factory recommended maintenance that I have just suggested.
