Hello Everyone. Up for bid is my 1990 Honda CRX Si. This was my winter project car. I have restored many German cars in my career but this was my first Honda. I just had to see for myself what all the buzz was about. During my research on the car I was advised to look for a car in a dry climate because of the rust issues concerning these cars as you all know. I only wanted a red one as they are by far the most popular. I found this car in Southern California and had it shipped to me across country to North Carolina. The car came with a body kit already on it, 17inch Acer wheels, and RSR Lowering springs and an Alpine head unit with a 1000 watt Kenwood amp and 2 10 in subs installed in a huge box just sitting in the hatch. Car also came with a security system Here is what I have done to the car. Repair and paint the body kit and car. Recover the factory seats with new foam. Recover the hatchback area. Completely redo the sound system with everything mounted flush in the hatch with lights that really look cool at night. Install underglow lights beneath the dash. The sound system and underglow lights are controlled by 2 toggle switchs that are mounted so the driver can control if they are on or off. Installed RS Style steering wheel ( Factory steering wheel is included in the sale) Installed short shifter with new boot. Shifts really nice. Installed Diamond Plate Floor mats with Si logo Installed new windshield Had 20% tint installed all the way around Under the Hood: Removed the valve cover and had it powder coated Installed new factory valve cover gaskets. Installed new plug wires with Iridium plugs. Installed Bomz Racing cold air intake. (Factory unit is included in the sale) Installed Tannabe front strut bar. Installed JDM headers (Factory system included in sale) Installed new tires all the way around. The sunroof works great and of course there are no rust issues on this California car. Previous owner had the car for 6 yrs and says the motor has around 100k on it. I have been driving the car around some since the restoration and it gets 30mpg around town. I have not had it on a trip but I would guess 40mpg on the road. I hope everyone enjoys looking at the car and of course bidding.
