1960 Karmann Ghia convertible , VIN # 2616498 , says 1959 on original vin tag and I guess made pretty early in the production run . This car belonged to a neighbor , he traded it plus cash to me for a hot rod I had . My Wife has driven it a couple times and it's a neat car , but not really our cup of tea and I'm no VW expert by any means . It is currently registered on a really nice pair of 1956 Ca. plates with the number LCH 666 !!! Kind of an interesting number , has mint Bob Smith Hollywood VW dealer frames . New 2 stage vintage silver metallic paint , color sanded and buffed , looks shiny and reflective and not even a nick or scratch yet . Newer interior , seats and carpet look almost new . New top , I think it's German canvas very nice quality like Stayfast I believe . Matching boot as well . New stainless moldings on the sides , new windshield . Underside nicely undercoated . Trunk area and nose look very solid . Engine was rebuilt and runs well , shifts and stops well also . All of this work was done in the last 5 years and the car has barely even been driven , just sat in his garage covered up . Still 6 volt . Comes with some extra parts , looks like an original jack and front bumper as well . I will be glad to answer any questions 818)517-7508 my name is Mike .
