1993 Honda Gold Wing

I bought this Wing last summer solely for a cross country trip. I bought it in LA and drove it up the Pacific Coast Highway to northern CA than over and up through the mountains of Oregon and Washington. I drove up to Prince George BC, over to Jasper ALB and down the Ice Field Highway to Montana. This leg is perhaps some of the finest riding in the world! (My opinion) From Montana east across the northern USA, over the Great Lakes, then down through Ny. Vt. and Home to Connecticut. A 7 week trip of about 7000 miles. Except for one problem the bike preformed flawlessly! The generator died just outside of The Dalles Oregon and a new one was installed by the wonderful people at Fun Country Power Sports authorized Honda shop. That's a 500$ bill you won't have to worry about! I purchased the bike from a Wing affectionado in LA and he completely serviced it before I picked it up. Amsoil in engine and rear drive. The bike was ready to go and will be for you too. The bike starts, runs and stops perfectly. The custom seat (I forget the make) w/backrest is as comfortable as any I have ever been on! Has cruise control and reverse; don't kid yourself, you want this option! I installed a power outlet for a heated vest but luckily didn't need it. Cosmetically this bike has a few scrapes and dents as can be expected for a 1993 with 58K on it. The front crash bars have some dents where it looks like someone overtightened highway pegs. The right mirror has a scrape on the back side (should show in picture) where it scraped against my garage door: my bad. The windshield is clear and the paint is shiney. Upon inspection you will see that this bike has been well cared for its entire life. The front tire shows a little more wear than the rear (Dunlops) but I would not hesitate to reverse my trip on them; of course your comfort level of tires may be different than mine. The only item that doesn't function is the lights on the bottom of the right-hand saddlebag. They were working when I got the bike and I just noticed that they are out. Original tool kit and air hose included. I will do the same for the buyer as the seller did when I bought it. (Thanx Rusty) I'll pick you up at the airport, Bradley International (BDL), just north of Hartford Ct. at no additional charge. The bike will be ready to go. Obviously plates and insurance will be up to you. I'll supply a clear Ct. title upon funds clearing.my bank. I can hold the bike a few weeks if necessary. This is a perfect time to take a bike trip; before Summers heat! I can also work with any shipper of your choice if you can't break free for a ride. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. If little flaws bother you please don't bid; you can purchase a new flawless one for 20K+ and save us both aggravation! $500 deposit within 48 hours of auctions end.
