Vehicle Detail

1972 Chevy K5 Blazer odometer shows 95123 miles and i assume to be original miles but cant guarantee. Blazer started out as original 4sp truck and has been converted to auto trans with shifter on floor there is a transmission fluid leak between transmission and transfer case but does not effect but will need to be fixed soon becasue does mark its spot. Blazer has PS, PB, AC and tilt wheel the AC has been upgraded with new parts and is functional and comprssor kicks on when turned on unsure of how cold it gets because has not been warm enough to check. Someone had installed a security system and added wires and spliced into some. The fuel gauge does not work I assume broken wire but not sure. The motor was rebuilt in 05-06 and is a 383 stroker with a very mild rv cam and have reciept on build. After being built it set in storage for approx. 3 years so motor has around 8 to 10,000 miles and runs good and strong. Blazer runs and drives good there is a little play in front end but not bad for an old truck. I believe this to be an old restore and they did a nice job there is some rust though starting to come through and i have tried to take pics of where i could see and there might be more. The worst i seen was on the pan on driver side rear see pic. There is some scratches on drivers side see pics and some minor dings. The drivers door catches just a little on fender needs to be adjusted. The rear bumper has a small bend in it i have purchased a new one that will go with it. The seats are nice for what i believe to be original but i also have new white covers from chevy duty that will go with it. I also have new white side peices for the back that will go with it. The top has a litte chip out of corner and there has been some work on the back hatch gate but is functional. There is a bolt that broke on passenger side very rear that will need to be drilled out for mounting top just never messed with because never was a problem but i have all hardware for top to. I dont think i have the trim that goes around the outside of the tailgate for some reason thought bought new but cant find if i do it will go with sale. The factory radio in still in it but does not work. One of the heater switches is broke also but i have a very nice used set that also will go with sell. It has new 31/10/15 tires on it also. I have described about every little detail of this blazer but im sure i have forgotten something so please feel free to ask. This is a very nice blazer and mostly original condition and gets alot of attention when driven it will hard to find a nicer original looking blazer. Only reason for selling is buying new house or would keep. Please dont bid if you dont have funds to buy. I have described to the best of my knowledge and sure have forgotten some stuff so please ask before bidding to assure you are getting what you expect. I will help with loading it for shipper. All funds must clear my bank before vehicle or title leave. Does have clear Kansas title in my name. Truck will be sold AS IS WHERE IS But is an old vehicle with alot of neat options and has not really been taken from its original condition yet. Thanks On May-10-10 at 18:26:40 PDT, seller added the following information: If you have any questions also feel free to call me at 785-214-9448 and leave message i will call you back ThanksOn May-14-10 at 10:49:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I have lowered the reserve this truck will sell its not far from it now. I hate to sell this truck but need money for house. There has been questions about the covers that i have for the seats and side peices. The seat covers are not the cheap seat covers you just buy any where they were around $400 and the side pieces are the ones that go down the back sides of the blazer that cover the inside hump and run from behind the back of the front seats to the rear of the blazer and i believe they were around $500 new. Hope this helps Thanks
