His family has asked us to sell it for them and we feel the best way to find a discriminating buyer who will treasure it as much as the original owner is to offer it on eBay.In 1974 Cadillac featured a castiron block 472 CID V8 fed through a Rochester 4 Bbl carburetor and rated @ 205 HP. The extra-wide egg crate grille is set off by round quad headlamps with cornering Guide-Matic Control. This vehicle is also equipped with Automatic Control, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, 6-Way Power Seat, Delco AM/FM Radio/Tape Player, Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Tilt & Telescoping Steering Wheel, and has a padded Vinyl Top. The original window sticker and owners manual remain in the glove compartment.The Firemist Terra Cotta finish is still excellent as is the Padded Vinyl top. The glass and the chrome are also first rate and the interior is outstanding! The velour upholstery and the deep-pile carpeting are like new and the floormats look like they were purchased yesterday. This is a non-smoker and the interior is as fresh as a new vehicle. Obviously this great survivor has always been garaged and has never seen bad weather. As can be seen in the photos this car presents extemely well inside and out. The only cosmetic issues noted are a cracked filler panel between the rear bumper and the trunk (this was a common problem on cars of this era) and there are a few small stone chips on the hood (see photos)This vehicle runs as good as it looks...It starts right up, runs strong and quiet . The Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission shifts smoothly. Driving and handling are superb and there are no drips, smoke or unusual noises. The owner was quick to remedy any problems and extemely fastidious about service. With less than 14000 miles this Sedan DeVille 4 Door Hardtop is like a time capsule from 1974!
