The original owner Velma shown in picture below gave this car to her grandson in 2002 when he turned 17 yrs old. Andrew loved his grandma's car but had to sale it due to getting married and starting a new family of his own. I took the Cadillac when it was done to Andrew's grandma Velma to show her how it came out, and hear some of her storys about this Cadillac that she loved so much.Velma was a school teacher and drove this car back and fourth from Long bch. to Inglwood Ca, 5 days.This Cadillac never left the state of California and still wears its original black licence plates. The car was repainted only once in its original color Baroque Gold It had no prior damage at all very straight car and solid car a true survior.The car runs good with alot of power from its original # matching 429 engine and 400 transmission. The front vacum lights work fine and gos up and down great with no problem. I put 1968 working corner lights to make it look better but it is a 1967. I recently put the following new and rebuilt: new altenator new voltage regulator new vacuum lines new radial tires with less then 100 miles master cylinder tune up kit ignition switch The chrome trim and stainless brightwork is in excellent condition and all original. Glass is really nice with no cracks.Windows go up and down without help. The front seat was recently redone in its original fabric do to the age and wear.Seat has just stoped working may need lube or motor. Dashboard is in mint condition with no cracks has allways been covered from sun. Overall for a 43 year old vintage Cadillac this is a in very good conditon but not perfect, it is in no way a frame off restored 100 point car or a trailer queen.
