63 Ford F100 4X4 truck (hybrid); · 63 F100 Custom Cab with step-side short bed. · 83 Ford 4X4 truck chassis. · 69 Mustang 302 engine. · Runs and Drives great, needs some TLC. Body is a 1963 F100 Custom Cab with the step-side short bed that came from Albuquerque New Mexico. It has some surface rust, and a very few holes – mostly in the bed, but is very solid and all workable as a whole. Note: · Original Door sills are virtually rust free (see pictures). · Drip rail around cab is all solid with very little rust. · The floors are all solid. · All the glass is good Chassis is a 1983 F150 4X4 that is completely stock and drivable as is. Transmission is an original 4 speed with granny low 1st gear; Transfer case is factory with 2H, 4H & 4L. Tires are a Michelin all weather radial with 80% of their tread left. Engine is out of a 69 Mustang. It was rebuilt 13 – 14? years ago and has ~ 25000 miles on it. It is bored .030 over with forged 9:1 pistons and completely balanced. It has a 1965 factory Ford 4 barrel intake, Holly carb, headers, and a mid-range cam. Runs very strong and is reliable. Primary things it needs: · Exhaust work behind the collectors going on to the exhaust pips. · Front universals for the 4 wheel drive. The 4 wheel drive Does work, but the front axes will make noise if engaged until this is fixed. · …and a tune up. All parts of this truck are stock for their respective areas except: · Steering linkage is custom · Body mounts are all custom Which means virtually all parts can be acquired through normal sources for body, chassis or engine. This is a very fun truck to drive. This truck will turns heads and start conversations whether you finish what I never got around to doing, Or if ya just keep driving it the way it is.
