You are bidding on a very rare 2003 Toyota RAV4 EV. This is not a kit conversion, it is a Toyota Factory built Electric Vehicle. I purchased the car on Ebay in 2008 for nearly $46,000 (with 127,748 miles on it). It is an EXCELLENT little car!!! My wife and I were wanting to charge this car using our 5.9kw off-grid solar system on our farm here in SE Idaho. The charging system for the car puts too much of a strain on the house batteries. That, coupled with the fact that we (my wife and I) our now getting a divorce, sadly forces me to put this car on the auction block. We have only put about 4000 miles on this car since we've owned it. The previous, and, original owner used it in the L.A. area commuting 50 miles to work (where he recharged it) then 50 miles back home where he would recharge it again! High miles yes, but 99% of them being on smooth highways. The car comes with two charging stations (plus a third that doesn't currently work). I've installed new Toyo H/T Open Country tires that have less than 1000 miles on them. I have also installed a class IV receiver hitch so I could use a Thule bike rack that mounts to this receiver. Depending on driving conditions, this car can still see nearly 100 miles between charges! It also has a top speed of 85 mph! This is not a toy electric car that can only do 25 mph. This car is the real deal!
