Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1988.5 Suzuki Samurai I got right here on e bay about six years ago.I paid $3400.00 and it had 76134 miles on it. I have only put 8428 miles in six years.I used it for daily driver and trail rig.I have a company vehicle so mostly drove it on weekends. This Samurai spent most of its life in Orlando,Fla area. It has no visible rust. The story I got from the guy I bought it from said it belonged to a elderly couple that pulled it behind a RV and that the actual driven mileage was aprox half of the shown mileage. Buy the condition of the samurai, I believe this is probably true. This rig has had a ton of upgrades.I started with transfer shifter sheet fix. Then heavy duty clickty start fix.Added a tach and oil press gauge.Wrapped factory glove box in aluminum diamond plate.Added custom steering wheel and center mounted tuffy lock box with armrest.Aftermarket seats.Quik release door straps.Brackets to mount door mirrors to door mounts when doors are removed.Traded rear bench seat for rare double rear seats.Custom front and rear bumpers with led lights and receiver hitch, D rings on back. Custom rock sliders(nerfs) all these items are heavy duty 3/16 thick steel.Front bumper also has tow bar mounts(tow bar and lights included). All running, turn and brake lights have been converted to led. And all work. Samurai has two inch lift shackles and Rocky road five inch SPOA with shocks and drive line spacers. Also added Toyota over the top steering. This is about $1300.00 worth of parts. The articulation is great. It has five Super Swamper radial TSL 27x9.50R15LT tires with 75% tread left. Four Ford modular aluminum wheels and one factory steel Samurai wheel(stock). With the lift you could probably get 33" on it no problem. The best upgrade I have added to the Samurai is the VW mech fuel injection. It is from Myron @ I zuk. This makes the little 1.3 run alot better. This is about a $600 upgrade. I also added a petro works fuel tank with skid plate. This doubles fuel capacity and the tank is clear so you can see the fuel level. The top is in good shape it is a Outland I think its made by best top. The windows in it are clear and the zippers work good. It does have a small repair on right rear corner(see pic)All buttons and fasteners work.I have fitted a late model Samurai grill and crystal blue head lights(makes it look more modern). The bad,Samurai has minor body damage due to trail use ,scratches, dings etc.The passenger seat is broken. Could probably be fixed. I will include the stock pass seat with the auction. The glove box hinge is broken. I have seen new ones on e bay for $25.The driver side window is hard to roll up. I have some extras to include with the Samurai.(see pic) New brake pads, oil filter, Instrument cluster, locking hubs, stock shackles, drag link, Hayes manual, extra FI lines, new timing belt cover.Only for sale in USA lower 48. No shipping. Unless buyer arranges. I will take to terminal if within 25 miles of my residence. Vehicle is located in Evansville, In 47712. Have IN title in hand.I have alot of time and money in this rig it is not perfect, but it is a very capable rig, very dependable.Driveline & Drivetrain is stock. If I could keep it I would probably put 6:1 transfer gears in next. Hate to part with unemployment forces me to. I will take no less than $3500 Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Might consider trade for Late model Can Am Renegade 800 or 500 only, no other 4 wheelers.
