Vehicle Detail
1969 TRIUMPH TROPHY TR25W Mint, Mint, Mint!!! I am relisting after the auction was active for one day. I had listed the bike as a 1970, but it is a 1969. I apologize to the bidders yesterday. Everything is correct now in the listing. Bid with confidence. I have a 100% positive rating as an e-bayer. Total restoration, no expense spared. Every part has been restored, refurbished or replaced. Less than 100 miles since restoration. Engine rebuild by RedLine Motorcycles, the TOP British restoration shop in Minnesota. I would rate this bike 95 out of 100 points. I can't think of any real flaws, but no bike is perfect. This was the first motorcycle I ever rode back in college. I always wanted a pefect one....I hate to part with it, but its brothers in the garage get ridden more, 2 BMW's and a Ducati! After winter storage (correctly done) I put the battery back in, tickled the carb and it started on the first kick. Engine is perfect. Transmission is perfect. All electrics work. The motorcycle looks and runs perfect. Chrome is 98%. Paint is 99%. Everything that could get polished is polished. I am including an owners manual and any other manuals I have. This bike is not cheap, but it is reasonable and affordable. If you love or collect Triumphs, this is a real head turner. I will deliver the bike to a shipper or a shipper can come to my house for pickup. I have used Forward Air for shipping bikes. You can get an estimate quickly from them at www.forwardair.com. No paypal. Cashier's check or cash only. No trades or swaps of any kind. No buy it now. Don't ask what the reserve is...that is why I am doing the auction! Have fun...if you win...you are winning a museum piece. I would like to think it could be the nicest Triumph 250 in the U.S. Please call or email with any questions: Dave Arundel, 612-308-2807. Or, darundel@goredline.net. On May-05-10 at 08:33:02 PDT, seller added the following information:A question has come up about who did the restoration work on the bike. The frame and body work were done by Bill Hoard, a famous Triumph restorer from Michigan. The motor was rebuilt and restored by Jeff Phillips, of RedLine Cyles, prominent Minnesota Brit Bike restoration shop. ALL first quality work.On May-10-10 at 13:24:56 PDT, seller added the following information:In response to a couple inquiries, This is a matching number motorcycle. The engine and frame both have the same number: EC16692TR25W. Thanks, Dave
